Firm Prevails Against Apple in Copyright Appeal
This morning the Eleventh Circuit issued its decision in Apple v. Corellium, affirming dismissal of Apple’s principal copyright claims against the firm’s client, the maker of a virtualization program used by security researchers to explore vulnerabilities in Apple’s iPhone and iPad operating systems. The court of appeals unanimously held that Corellium’s use of Apple’s operating systems in its research products constituted fair use.
